Field House is a program of three separate buildings: house, studio and barn that are surrounded by stone walls, hayfields, wetlands and woods. The design balances traditional agrarian forms and modern open spaces while taking full advantage of passive solar heating and cross ventilation. The three structures are sited to provide maximum sun exposure and privacy with minimal disturbance to the landscape.
