Originally this house had the largest living areas on the first floor and became more constricted and less finished as one moved up. The views, on the other hand, became more expansive as one moved up. With this in mind, we reversed the layout, allocating secondary guest rooms to the first floor, owner's area to the second floor, and living areas to the third. The first floor closely resembles the original layout, but the spaces become more open as the height increases, culminating in the completely open third floor.
